Veo Events chose Menace Media as their video production partner to produce build to completion event highlight videos.
The Brief
Veo Events were looking for a video production partner to highlight their exceptional event services. This meant documenting the behind the scenes of multiple events, from initial setup to final execution. This coverage extended to Gala Dinners, Awards ceremonies, Parties, and Concerts. Veo aimed to use this content to demonstrate the quality of their work, the impact of their solutions and of course, these videos serve perfectly as case studies.
What we did
Ever since we got the first brief, we were super excited to get to work. Each filming session required the presence of one or two videographers on location to document the progression of the build. This extended to capturing each event in its prime, recording the guests’ experiences and highlighting the exceptional ambiance created by Veo’s audio-visual solutions.
Our strategy for this project adheres to a straightforward principle: captivating, dynamic visuals. This entails that every frame must exude purpose and movement to sustain a uniform rhythm in the final cut. To achieve this we shot the majority of the footage utilising gimbals and carefully selected specific instances for handheld footage when deemed necessary.
The Edits
The primary objective of the edits was to create an engaging, high-energy experience.
To achieve this, we selected music that facilitated a rapid tempo and enabled us to experiment with diverse transitions and visual enhancements. Given the extensive amount of footage that we capture during these events due to the long nature of the days, this meant meticulous selection of pivotal story moments became critical to crafting a narrative that was both captivating and comprehensible for the viewer.
Considering the inherently visual aspect of the events, we took great care to ensure the colours were vibrant and striking in order to accurately convey the guest experience on screen.
The Result
Having collaborated with Veo Events for more than three years, we have produced 11 pieces of content that encompass a variety of event types. Our fruitful partnership has enabled Veo Events to present their work in a high-quality, compelling, and efficient way. Through this content, they have been able to promote their services by publishing the content on their website and social media channels.
