What we did
The Brief
Rushlift, a provider of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and Ground Support Equipment (GSE), serves diverse industries and clients. The company aimed to highlight its broad product range, exceptional services, and unique selling points to its target audience via video. Our role was to create an informative, engaging, and modern video that captured the essence of Rushlift’s offerings.
The Shoots
We spent a couple of days filming with Rushlift, deploying a dual-videographer team for optimal efficiency and comprehensive coverage. This approach proved essential given the stringent schedule and large amount of content to capture.
The first day comprised interviews with three principal spokespersons. Our objective was to maintain viewer engagement throughout the video; therefore, each interviewee was positioned in a distinct location to create a unique ambience and background relevant to their persona. In addition to interviews, the initial day involved capturing a broad spectrum of b-roll at Rushlift’s headquarters, showcasing their new call centre facility, engineering workshops, parts departments, among others. That day also included aerial drone footage to capture establishing shots of the Rushlift Facility. Our primary goal was to gather extensive footage to narrate the Rushlift story effectively during editing.
The second day concentrated on documenting an engineer performing maintenance at a client’s location. Precise planning was essential to illustrate the engineer’s arrival and subsequent repair work on machinery. Favourable weather was crucial for this shoot (challenging in England) yet, fortunately, we secured a splendid day with ideal conditions for an excellent filming session.
The Edits
In the editing process of this project, our core focus was the messaging. We initially dedicated time to constructing a foundational structure for the interviews that effectively conveyed the narrative and essential messages. Following completion, we selected suitable music tracks to maintain audience engagement and dictate the video’s pace by altering the music regularly to refresh the atmosphere. Once this was in place, it was b-roll time! We were truly blessed with this project to have so much golden footage from our days filming with Rushlift.
To enhance the messaging and add depth to the video, we integrated motion graphics to some scenes. This technique not only emphasised critical points but also clarified complex topics that were challenging to depict through live-action footage. Additionally, we created animated brand assets to unify the video’s aesthetic, including an animated logo and lower third titles.
The Result
The result from this project is a fantastic company video that encompasses everything that Rushlift is about. Rushlift have published this across their social media channels, and their websites. As well as this it’ll be used within their sales to increase revenue.
