Showcasing Silverstone Museum’s Iconic Attractions
What we did
Brief
Silverstone Museum sought a video partner to help promote the remarkable attractions within their venue, located at the iconic Silverstone Circuit. This prime spot for motorsport enthusiasts offers visitors a journey through history with iconic displays. Having previously worked with another supplier whose videos focused too heavily on people rather than the attractions, Silverstone Museum was eager to find a fresh approach. With the 2024 F1 Grand Prix approaching, it was an ideal time to capture footage of the target audience, dressed in F1 merchandise, exploring the museum.
Shoot
Our shoot featured a team of two videographers covering the full range of attractions and experiences in the museum. Using both gimbal and handheld footage, we aimed to keep the visuals dynamic, capturing timelapses to convey foot traffic throughout the museum. Our approach required high-movement shots, which meant carefully navigating the busy crowd which was a challenge that we met through detailed planning and coordination. We consulted with Silverstone Museum beforehand to prioritise key areas and ensure we captured the target audience without making them the sole focus.
We also conducted a second shoot on a separate day to capture drone footage, as restrictions during the F1 Grand Prix weekend necessitated waiting for a safe, later date.
Edit
Our goal was to infuse the video with high energy to spark a sense of FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) and inspire audiences to visit. We selected multiple upbeat music tracks and used dynamic editing techniques, such as speed ramping and beat-matched cuts, to keep the momentum engaging. With match cuts, we achieved seamless transitions that added rhythm and flow to the final video.
Result
The final video exceeded Silverstone Museum’s expectations and became their hero video for marketing across 2024 and 2025. We’re incredibly proud of this achievement, and since then, Silverstone Museum has enlisted us to create additional video content for other aspects of their offerings.
