Boosting Amazon Sales Through Video
What we did
Brief
RGS Group offers a diverse range of products that they sell directly to consumers through Amazon. To elevate their product pages, they required a series of product demonstration videos. Additionally, for their more complex products, RGS Group needed product assembly videos to help customers with the assembly process after purchase.
Shoot
The product shoots often took place in garden settings, reflecting the outdoor and garden-focused nature of RGS Group’s products. Typically, a single videographer handled each shoot, planning the day in advance to create a detailed shot list, check weather conditions, and prepare equipment. For filming, we used a gimbal-led approach, adding dynamic movement to keep the videos engaging. For more detailed shots, we used a tripod or handheld camera to maintain a clear focus on the subject. During the shoot, we also captured a selection of stills for RGS Group, ensuring cohesive media material for their product pages.
Edit
The goal for the RGS Group videos was to make them clear, engaging, and informative. Since they were not designed for social media, we could pace them more slowly to improve clarity. During the editing process, we incorporated callout titles to highlight key product features. For the assembly videos, these titles detailed each step, making the process easy for viewers to follow.
Result
These videos have significantly enhanced RGS Group’s product pages, driving higher sales on Amazon. Customers are now better informed about the products and feel equipped to assemble them with ease and confidence.
